Description

Working as a team, participants write down significant events, accomplishments and memorable people during different time periods of the team’s history. Working in small groups, they then discuss their group’s assigned time period, document successes and key lessons learned. As a team the groups then discuss known conflicts and ceremoniously decide to close out past, non-productive history in order to move to a more effective future state.

Description

Facilitate the team in drawing a timeline/roadmap that describes how to get from the current state to the desired future state. The team aligns on critical milestones that are needed to implement the strategic direction.

Description

Interactive exercise to clarify key strategies that your team will implement to successfully achieve your mission and vision. Each strategy will have clear success criteria and action plans to achieve. A SWOT analysis can also be included.

Description

In challenging times, it is even more important for your team to have a clear mission and vision. Work together to clarify not only what it is but what how you will measure success in achieving your mission and vision. If this is done outside of an intact work team, techniques for developing a mission and vision are taught.

Description

Each team member/group shares the key areas they are responsible for and the associated tasks. Then, the groups goes through a process that helps them to add, subtract, and/or move tasks and responsibilities to other groups/team members.

Description

Once role clarity has been established, then the group goes through a process to help each team member/group define what they give to each of the other team members/groups and what they receive from each of the team members/groups.

The team evaluates different possible organizational structures and decides on which one is best for accomplishing the team mission and vision.

The team defines goals and objectives for their organization and/or individually.

Teams establish the values they want their company and culture to be centered around, or team with existing values further define and develop ways to practice their values.

Muda (waste) is integral to Kaizen (lean manufacturing). This module will walk your team through a process to identify critical areas of focus, delegation, and waste in how your senior leader spends their time.
