Utilizing a self-assessment tool, participants learn about their preferred communication style and how it differs from other styles. Participants also explore how to quickly identify the style of someone they are communicating with and how to use that information to communicate more effectively. Participants apply the adaptation techniques in an interactive activity to re-write a common story using the different styles.
Duration | 300 Minutes

Participants learn the key elements of telling a story: Goal, Grab Attention, Engage, and Enable. These elements are taught throughout the workshop and incorporated into the other aspects of storytelling (The Storyteller and The Listener). Participants have work time to apply the concepts, write stories, and share with other participants. Participants leave with two completed stories by the end of the day.
